Most of the work done in Amma's institutions is accomplished with time volunteered by Amma's children coming from all walks of life. When we are around Amma, we witness the sacrifice and selflessness of her children as many of them forgo sleep and food to tirelessly work around the clock, facilitating the smooth and organized flow of the program. Amma's Grace resides with them constantly as they do their service selflessly with deep love and dedication.

Many among us have the desire to contribute in a like manner in Amma's work to humanity, but are challenged by the lack of time or a lack of clarity regarding where to fit in. Rest assured, there is place for each one of us in Amma's lap. Volunteer work for Amma's organization is required from both the skilled and unskilled alike and it does not halt with Amma's physical presence leaving the city. Voluntary help is needed throughout the year and however little be the time that you may have to contribute, it is well appreciated. Besides, you will reap the priceless satisfaction that your time, talent and effort have been spent well, toward a worthwhile cause.

Amma urges us to avail of any opportunity to do service. Let us heed her words and follow in her footsteps by resolving to devote at-least a few hours each week to selfless service by contributing a little from the large reservoir of talents and abilities that God has blessed us with.
